Walnut Creek, California’s Northcreek Church Selects Broadcast Pix

Northcreek Church in Walnut Creek, California has selected a Broadcast Pix Slate 1000 to power the video element of the church’s newly constructed worship facility. Northcreek Church (NCC) purchased the unit and integrated the video elements of the facility through Broadcast Pix dealer, Snader and Associates. NCC also worked with Fresno, CA-based Michael Garrison Associates (MGA) to incorporate audio, lighting, stage, and graphic components throughout the remainder of the new building being added to the church campus.
NCC is now in Phase III of a massive construction project which began two years ago. Construction began in response to an increase in church attendance and the need to provide additional space for the church’s various…

City Theatrical, one of the industry’s leaders in the design, development, and manufacturing of wireless DMX, has been granted U.S. Patent number 7,432,803 for its wireless technology.
Wireless DMX is used in entertainment technology to control a wide variety of electronic devices including moving lights, dimmers, fog machines, and color changers, without the need for running data cables. City Theatrical’s wireless DMX is similar in concept to a home or business WiFi system, but uses a much more robust and powerful radio transport method to ensure reliability of mission critical systems.

Protech Theatrical Services, a designer of theatrical rigging equipment in Las Vegas announces plans to re-direct its product lines to manufacture green products. “We will be making every effort to use recycled, organic, and natural materials as well as methods to create a new line of products made of raw and recycled materials. Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems and Masque Sound will hold a training seminar for all interested house of worship audio staff on Thursday, October 16, in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The seminar begins at 9:00 am and ends at 4:00 pm with breakfast and lunch provided.
Conducted by Dan Craik, house of worship marketing manager, Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems, training will include demonstrations of NEXO and Yamaha Installation speakers, amplifiers, and the Yamaha M7CL digital audio console.
