RimageDesktop Publisher 800

Rimage Corporation introduces the Desktop Publisher 800, a new competitively priced, single-drive 12X CD-R publishing system. The Desktop Publisher 800 can handle up to 50 CD’s for true unattended production. This PC host-based system features silent operation, compact design and sophisticated robotics, and includes one 12X CD-R drive, a 50-disc autoloader, a 1200-dpi ink jet printer for high resolution, and CD production software.

    

Tascam322 Dual-Well Cassette Deck

The new Tascam 322 features an optical leader-sensing device that allows it to minimize lost time when the direction of the tape is changed while in record mode. Also included on the 322 is a RS-232 port, offering bi-directional communication in AV control system integration. Includes a '12% pitch control, Dolby B and C Noise Reduction with HX Pro Headroom Extension and 1x or 2x dubbing capabilities. And multiple 322s can be stacked together providing cascade play/record functionality.

    

Leviton NSIProgrammable Control System

The MLC-128R from Leviton’s NSI/Lighting Control Division is a programmable control system that makes it easy to design everything from simple shows to elaborate events. The rack-mount device’s front panel offers convenient access to up to 1,024 user-programmable scenes. Pre-focus memories allow fast, standard show set-up times with minimal editing. The MLC-128R provides 512 control channels and can control up to 128 individual intelligent devices via the DMX512 protocol. The extensive memory capacity supports up to 256 device patterns for up to 256 shows.

    

Strand LightingSLD Dimmer Racks

Designed to interface fully with Strand Lighting’s proprietary ShowNet Ethernet system the SLD dimming system provides a wide range of inputs - including two DMX and 12 analogue - as well as presets for their Outlook architectural system and 99 System Wide Control back-up presets, with individual fade times. All dimmers feature high-performance chokes and dimmer status reporting to Strand’s 300 and 500 Series consoles, while the unique plug-in component design offers exceptional ease of maintenance.

    

ProximaPro AV 9410 Projector

Featuring 3,700 lumens, SXGA (1280 x 1024) and 600:1 contrast ratio, the new Proxima Pro AV 9410 projector is designed for larger audience venues. The 1.8-inch polysilicon LCD projector provides high-quality images from S-video to DVD and HDTV due to integrated digital scaling and InFocus’ V-Scan video processing. The ProAV 9410 also comes with power lens shift (+/-12'), six lens options and numerous inputs including BNC x 5, RGB, component video, composite video and S-video.

    

PhilipscBright XG1 Impact Projector

Philips’ new cBright XG1 Impact projector is an ultra silent, 1,500 ANSI lumen unit with XGA resolution weighing less than eight pounds. Images are optimally positioned on the screen automatically through the Auto Image feature. The projector also features digital keystone correction and USB plug-and-play compatibility for a wide variety of peripherals. The three-year parts and labor warranty includes toll-free customer support, free 48-hour roadside assistance and free delivery of projectors on loan and repair.

    

HitachiSK-3100P HDTV Camera

The new SK-3100P from Hitachi features a 2.2 million pixel IT (Interline Transfer) CCD and provides simultaneous 1080i HDTV and NTSC output. It is designed offer a cost-effective, flexible choice for those looking to enter the high-definition marketplace. The SK-3100P is a portable, EFP (Electronic Field Production) camera that can also be easily utilized in a studio configuration. They feature independent control of all detail settings.

    

JVCDLA-M5000SC Projector

The newest addition to JVC Professional’s line of D-ILA-based projectors, is the DLA-M5000SC "Super Contrast" D-ILA Projector. This powerful large-venue projector is ideal for applications requiring high-resolution imaging. Preliminary specifications include true S-XGA resolution, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and brightness of 5000 ANSI Lumens. The new DLA-M5000SC incorporates JVC’s D-ILA technology with liquid crystal on silicon (L-COS) imaging technology.

    

FaroudjaNative Rate Series Video Processor

Faroudja’s new Native Rate Series Video Processor optimizes mid-priced fixed-installation digital LCD, DLP and plasma displays at a new more affordable price. It inputs standard video sources and upconverts them using patented Faroudja technology to match each display’s native resolution. It features built-in aspect ratio control, an extensive complement of rear-panel connections and the unit can be controlled with an included infrared remote, or from a computer via the RS-232 serial port.

    

ExtronCVEQ1 Composite Video Buffer

Extron introduces the CVEQ1, a one-input, one-output, composite video and stereo audio line driver with variable video gain and equalization. The CVEQ1 is designed to compensate for signal attenuation and high-frequency loss encountered in long cable runs. When an application involves multiple composite video signals being run a variety of distances, individual signal adjustments are required to deliver signals of equivalent signal strength to each display. These applications require a separate equalizer for each signal.

    

Christie Digital SystemsVivid Green Projector

Vivid Green is the first in a series of new Vivid projectors purposely from Christie Digital Systems designed for conference rooms, boardrooms, churches, training rooms and other venues. Vivid Green features up to 3,600 ANSI lumens, true XGA (1024 x 768) resolution with the latest in high aperture AM TFT p-Si LCD technology and optical design in a light 17.2-pound portable package. Also features brightness saving mode, autopower, auto set-up and multiple inputs and outputs.

    

Analog WaySmart Fade

The new Smart Fade from Analog Way combines the functions of an advanced video scaler with the many of the features of the company’s Seamless Switcher. With five-video input/two-computer inputs, the unit cuts, fades, dissolves, mixes and wipes and offers title insertion. It also provides switchable stereo audio inputs on each of the seven inputs with title and fading between computer and video sources. The Smart Fade™ is equipped with a RS232 remote control.

    

SymetrixSymnet Digital Signal Processor

The new SymNet from Symetrix is a modular digital audio mixing, routing and processing system designed for installed sound systems. Symnet encompasses rack-mount hardware units that provide processing, audio I/O, and control software and can be tailored to a wide range of installations. Additional hub hardware, interface cards, and unused DSP and I/O typical of other systems are eliminated by SymNet’s simple, networked building blocks.

    

QSC AudioISA 500T Amplifier

QSC Audio’s new ISA Installed System Amplifier Series includes the ISA500T featuring 260 Watts per channel at eight ohms and is capable of two-ohm stereo loads. "T" versions will drive eight- or four-ohm loads and a distributed system on the same channel simultaneously. The ISA Series amplifiers feature rear panel gain controls with 2-dB detents and may be used with DPV2-compatible signal processing accessories such as the XC-3 Crossover, SF-3 Subwoofer Filter, and the LF-3 Low Frequency Filter.

    

MidasVenice 320 Console

Midas’ new Venice 240 console offers a total of a 38-inputs in an ultra-compact format. The Venice Series is designed to appeal to users of the larger Midas Heritage and XL-Series consoles who do not need as many inputs or operate in constrained spaces. The Venice 240 offers four-band EQ with continuously variable hi-mid and low-mid controls, four subgroups and 16 direct outputs.

The new ES917S Long Gooseneck Microphone with lighted on/off switch is just one of the new Engineered Sound (ES) microphones that Audio-Technica recently introduced. Martin AudioF215 Black Line Loudspeaker

Martin Audio’s Blackline Series of portable and installation enclosures now includes the F215. This two-way passive, vented, trapezoidal enclosure offers very high SPL using a 1.4-inch-exit compression titanium diaphragm compression driver on a proprietary, rotatable 80' x 50' constant-directivity horn and extended low-frequency performance from twin 15-inch drivers. Constructed in multi-laminate birch ply, the F215 includes four rear-mounted four-inch castors and handles fitted top and bottom. Twelve M10 flying inserts are provided for cabinet rigging.

    

ARTHQ 15 Dual 15-Band EQ

Applied Research and Technology (ART) HQ 15 Dual Channel 15-Band EQ with FDC (Feedback Detection Circuitry) utilizes a set of LED indicators to show which EQ bands have the greatest energy. The sound engineer can reduce gain in that band quickly killing the feedback with minimal impact on the sound of the live program material. Also features selectable 6 dB or 12 dB boost/cut sliders, balanced XLR, '-inch and RCA I/O connections, high- and low-pass filters and more.

    

CrownIQ-PIP-USP2/CN module

PIP-USP2/CN module installs on any Crown PIP2-compatible amplifier creating the industry’s first CobraNet-compatible amplifier.
