Anchor Audio, has introduced PortaCom Pro, a 2.4-GHz, professional wireless intercom system. PortaCom Pro provides 15 operating channels for user groups and a separate channel for 'All Call'. Each user group can contain an unlimited number of users within a range of approximately 700 feet. The simple design requires only a headset and a belt pack for each user - with no central base station.

Octave Systems unveils an 11-drive model as the latest entry in its line of Copy Master II CD/DVD tower-style duplicators. The unit can provide 1-to-11, 1-to-9, 1-to-7, 1-to-5, 1-to-3 and 1-to-1 duplication, depending on the user's needs, and can burn up to 16X on DVD+R and DVD-R formats, and CDs up to 48X. All Copy Master II models now include the Fast Copy feature, which will open all trays simultaneously with the touch of one button.

Robe's LEDBlinder 196 unit is the brand's first entertainment- based LED product. this high-impact unit is fitted into the industry-standard eight-light casing. LEDBlinder 196 is an LED version of the popular eight-light Molefey, featuring eight LED modules, each with 12 high-power Luxeon RGB LEDs. The next-generation acquisition system offers HD and SD agility, a choice of compression formats, support for multiple types of removable media, and integration readiness into an IT-centric workflow. The Infinity digital media camcorder is designed from the ground up to make the most of contemporary IT technology.

LiveWorship will keep the spirit of worship in the music. The product's non-linear control uses slide thumbnail images that display with one click. Song lyrics, backgrounds and Bible translations are built in to LiveWorship. Says Marty Ford, Horizon Technology general manager, 'We just wanted to create software that was powerful enough to do everything you expect presentation software to do, without being hard for a volunteer to learn.'

Comprising both a transmitter and receiver, the model 1T-VGA-CAT system is capable of encoding and decoding VGA signals with resolutions of up to 1,280x1,024 into a bitstream for remote viewing using a single CAT 5 cable. With the ability to travel distances of up to 590 feet, a single transmitter/receiver combination can be used to provide an image to a single VGA monitor or projector.

At 6.4 pounds, the CP-S255 LCD projector features an RJ-45 Ethernet port, allowing for network control, maintenance and scheduling. The Studio Rack 8 is a 19-inch rackmount unit that can be loaded with up to eight Thunder Pro A/V Studio QUAD Interface drives. These drives can be removed from your rack and used as desktop devices without the need for a base station. They can be striped as RAID 0 for maximum capacity and speed, used as a mirrored RAID for maximum data security or serve as an archival device. Data connection is through Firewire 800.

The new TASCAM CD-01U Pro is a professional CD player with balanced analog and digital outputs, saving room in broadcast equipment racks and custom installations. It features MP3 playback, 20-second shock protection, slot-loading CD transports and pitch controls for flexible performance. Turbosound introduces the new TCS-151C contractor loudspeaker. The TCS-151C can be ordered as standard with black-painted cabinets or with a white finish. They are also available in weather-resistant variants, and can be ordered in custom colors. It is fitted with a 15-inch LF driver. The loudspeaker features accurate pattern control, to ensure an installation's results can be as predictable as possible, and the two-way speakers feature optimized passive crossovers incorporating high-frequency protection circuits.

According to Sony, their new PCM-D1 portable recorder represents a significant advance in high-quality mobile recording. The PCM-D1 can be used for high-quality recording in an array of applications including live sound, house of worship and theatrical performance. The new recorder is lightweight, free of all drive mechanisms, and is equipped with sensitive, built-in condenser microphones. The PCM-D1 features 96-k, 24-bit recording capability, four GB internal flash memory, removable Memory Stick Pro high-speed storage and a built-in USB 2.0 port.
