API560b Graphic EQ
API’s new 560b Ten Band Graphic Equalizer is a re-issue of the 560 originally released in the 1960’s. Today’s model retains the quality sound of its predecessor while fitting into flexible, outboard, modular frames rather than directly into consoles - as with the original version. This option opens API’s new 500 Modular Series to project studios seeking to upgrade, while continuing to provide high-end studios with API’s trademark sound.
Allen & HeathML5000 Mixing Console
The new Allen & Heath ML5000 is a VCA-equipped 16-aux, eight-audio-group mixer with eight mute groups, matrix and enhanced LCR and IEM (in ear monitor) facilities. The group/aux structure allows engineers to quickly configure the mixer for front-of-house, monitor or combined roles. Mono inputs have four-band parametric EQ’s with sweepable mids. A 128-patch memory system stores mute snapshots and VCA assignments. Patches can be linked to external sequencers and effects units via MIDI or RS-232.

Audio Composite Engineering540WR Loudspeaker
Audio Composite Engineering has announced weather resistant options for their most loudspeaker models including the 540WR. Features on these new weather resistant models include multi-layer grills, treated or polypropylene cones and corrosion protected passive crossover networks where applicable. The company says its proprietary composite cabinet construction is already highly UV resistant and virtually weather proof. These new designs are modifications to their basic designs allowing for low-cost weather resistance without sacrificing audio quality.
QSC AudioCX Series Amplifiers
The new four-channel CX Series amplifiers (CX204V, CX254 and CS404) range in power from 170 to 450 watts per channel. At only two rack spaces tall, they take up half the space of two stereo amplifiers and weigh only 21 pounds. Like all QSC CX Series amplifiers , the new four-channel models include an HD-15 data port for interfacing with QSControl, QSC’s Ethernet-based control system for remote amplifier monitoring and system management.

YamahaM2500 Mixing Console
Yamaha’s new M2500 features switchable LR (left-right) and LCR (left-center-right) panning using the mono bus as the center-channel feed. Available in 24-, 32-, 40-, 48-, or 56-channel configurations—the M2500 offers 25 output buses: 8 groups, 14 auxiliary buses, a stereo bus, and a mono/center bus. The four-band EQ includes two sweepable, overlapping, mid bands on mono channels. All channels include On/Edit switches and indicators for editing mute scenes without changing any other settings.

YamahaIQ-PIP-USP2 Amp Modules
The new Crown IQ-PIP-USP2 module features 24-bit signal processing and load supervision. The USP2 is an affordable addition to the Crown IQ amplifier control/loudspeaker processing system. An enhanced graphical user interface (GUI) allows on-screen graphical editing of audio filters including EQ and compression. The USP2 features eight independent, fully adjustable filters per channel, including second-order parametric EQ’s, first- through fourth-order crossover, second-order shelving. The USP2 can be used with all Crown PIP2-compatible amplifiers.

ShureWL61 Lavalier Microphone
The new Shure WL61 Series premium lavalier microphones are subminiature, omnidirectional units ideally suited for critical broadcast, video production, theatre and sound reinforcement applications.
