ConvertCON (NC3FM-C) is a new three-pin male and female cable connector in a single housing. ConvertCON is also available with black chrome housing and gold contacts (NC3FM-C-B). By sliding the housing back and forth, convertCON is transformed from a male to a female connector. This new male/female cable end XLR allows for use of one connector, as it can mate with either a male or female three-pin XLR. ConvertCON also features an improved chuck-type strain relief that provides higher pull-out force.

High End Systems Inc. introduces StudioPix, a hybrid wide-angle moving yoke LED wash light with programmable graphic imaging. StudioPix features a circular array of 61 homogenous three-watt LEDs on a 13.5-inch diameter head with an output of 11,500 RGB lumens. The LCD8205 can be installed in either portrait or landscape orientation and even tiled together for a video wall up to four displays high and four displays wide. JVC introduces two new multi-format compact digital switchers, the KM-H3000 and the KM-H2500.
