Greg Bacus, Principal Consultant, CSD Group, New Haven, IN
Custom Sound Designs (CSD) based in New Haven, Ind., a company that offers systems design and integration for the church market and others, announces new hire Greg Bacus as principal consultant with a specialty in broadcast and multisite churches.
Bacus spent 20+ years working in America's fastest-growing and most innovative multisite churches, the company reports, using his knowledge to expand their vision and fulfill their mission through the use of technology. Most recently he worked for Life.Church in Oklahoma City, where his team was responsible for the design, integration, and support of all things AVL and broadcast-related for all of Life.Church's 35 campuses.
“Now more than ever churches realize they need to get serious about how they present their message, not only to their physical audience, but to the world," says Doug Hood, CSD's president. "Whether a worship experience will be delivered to a local congregation or to an online audience, each requires a professionally designed audio/visual technical infrastructure. Greg is a highly respected expert in the world of multi-site church production because of his experience as a technical director and consultant overseeing some of the most advanced production systems for the largest churches in the United States."
Bacus adds of his new venture, “Stepping out of the church world and into my 'What’s Next,' I knew that in whatever I was going to do, I wanted to continue to work with churches to fulfill their visions and increase their impact on a local and global scale through technology."

He continues, "Organizational health, a strong defined culture, great team chemistry, and a sense of humor were at the top of my list when deciding where to start my next journey. The more I talked to and got to know the team at CSD, I quickly realized that we aligned on so many levels. The main thing I am looking forward to in this new adventure is the opportunity to focus on relationships with friends and churches as well as helping them bring their dreams and ideas from a concept to a reality.”
