ADJ will host “Lighting the Live Stream," Tuesday April 21st. With both presenters having degrees in theatrical lighting, Jake Rhodes and Bob Mentele will share their knowledge, from a technical standpoint, about what type of stage lighting to use to look professional for live stream video presentations. They will explain the difference between key lighting, fill lighting and back fill lighting. Plus, how to add in moving heads, how to make presenters pop on camera, explain dynamic white color temperatures, plus how to use correct gamma settings on lighting fixtures for the video camera use. They will cover live stream lighting techniques from single person vlogging all the way to a group of performers on a stage.
This is the season that ADJ would usually be exhibiting at trade shows around the world, demonstrating the company’s latest products to new and prospective customers. In lieu of these industry events, which have all been canceled or postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak, ADJ wants to offer something of the tradeshow experience but in a way that can be accessed safely in these times of social distancing and home working.
“With tours, live events and family celebrations widely canceled across the globe, as well as all kinds of venues closed from nightclubs to churches, it is, without doubt, a difficult time for our industry,” the announcement states. “However, this pandemic will pass, and when it does there is sure to be a huge demand for entertainment, events and social gatherings. So, during this downtime, ADJ wants to serve the industry by providing free education to help event professionals prepare for returning to work.”
Each Stay Connected session will offer practical ideas, tips and insight designed to teach, equip and inspire. Broadcast via Facebook Live, each video will also feature interactive elements allowing viewers to ask questions directly to the product specialists on camera.
