As this difficult year draws to a close, ADJ is hoping to spread some joy over the holiday season with its Winter Wonderland Lighting contest. The company is offering lighting pros and enthusiasts at all levels the chance to win one of three prizes by using their ADJ fixtures as part of a festive display or holiday event and tagging the photos or video on social media.
The entry could be a holiday project created for a client or using ADJ lighting, video or effects equipment to decorate a yard, front porch or home for the holidays. There are countless ways to use ADJ equipment to create a little holiday magic. The ADJ team will be selecting the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners based on how good the photos/videos look as well as the creative use of ADJ products. The contest is open to anyone around the world and customers can enter as many times as they like. ADJ asks entries say what ADJ fixture(s) are used in the description of the social media post.
When the contest has closed at 12 midnight (Pacific time) on Sunday, January 10th 2021, the ADJ team will carefully search through social media for every post that uses the #ADJWinterWonderland hashtag and choose three winners based on the creative use of ADJ fixtures and the aesthetic appeal of the photos/video. The winners will then be exclusively announced via ADJ’s social media channels on Thursday, January 14th, 2021.
Prizes to be awarded:
1st Place: 4 x ADJ 7P HEX IP - The overall winner of the contest will receive four of ADJ’s heavy-duty 7P HEX IP outdoor-rated LED par fixtures. Featuring 7 x 12-Watt HEX (6-in-1) LEDs and an all-metal enclosure sealed from liquid and dust to the IP65 standard, this fixture can be used to illuminate stages, dancefloors, décor or architectural features in any conditions.
2nd Place: 2 x ADJ Ikon Profile Pearl - The first runner up will receive a pair of Ikon Profile Pearls. Designed for projecting festive patterns and messages, ADJ’s Ikon Profile Pearl GOBO projector can also be used to enhance a stage set or party venue. With a 32W cool white LED source and high-quality optics – combined with manual zoom, focus and framing shutters – it can be used to project the five supplied patterns or bespoke custom GOBOs.
3rd Place: ADJ VF Snow Flurry HO + Snow JuiceThe final prize is a 1250W Snow Machine with a spray distance of 2-5meters. Designed to take holiday displays to a new level with atmospheric blasts of faux snowflakes of different shapes and sizes that float gently to the ground, just like the real thing, before quickly dissolving.
