Allen & Heath announces the launch of the spring semester of Allen & Heath University (AHU), bringing in-person audio training to professionals across the West Coast. The upcoming tour will make stops in San Diego, Los Angeles, Hayward, Sacramento, and Portland; delivering hands-on experience to the pro audio and systems integration communities.
The spring semester features two types of sessions being offered. One is tailored for live sound and the other for installation professionals, respectively.
dLive Certification sessions provide a comprehensive deep dive into Allen & Heath’s flagship live sound mixing systems. “Recognizing the critical value of real-world insight, these classes are exclusively led by veteran live sound touring engineers, including industry heavyweights Michael Bangs (Eric Clapton, Katy Perry, Lynyrd Skynyrd) and Jake Hartsfield (Vulfpeck, Ben Rector, Cory Wong). Attendees will benefit directly from their extensive road experience, learning advanced workflow techniques, routing strategies, and mixing secrets tested on the world’s most demanding stages,” the announcement states.
The second type of session is dedicated to the AV integration sector with the AHM Certification course. “This curriculum covers Allen & Heath’s powerful lineup of AHM installation matrix processors, which have become a go-to solution for corporate, retail, hospitality, and educational environments. In addition to mastering scalable audio networking and zone management, attendees of the AHM classes will also have the opportunity to earn AVIXA CTS Renewal Unit (RU) credits, making it an essential course for certified technology specialists looking to maintain their credentials,” the release says.
In each city, identical morning and afternoon sessions are offered, allowing attendees to seamlessly fit the training into their day. Furthermore, a complimentary lunch is served between the two sessions, providing an excellent opportunity for local engineers, integrators, and the Allen & Heath team to network and talk shop.
