Lawo mc²36 MkII audio production console
Lawo, a leader in professional audio technology, will unveil its latest advancements in audio production applications in booth 17306 North Hall Anaheim Convention Center at the 2025 NAMM Show, January 23 through 25.
Taking center stage will be Lawo’s mc² audio production consoles, represented by the mc²56 MkIII and mc²36 MkII, loaded with the brand-new software version 12.0.0. This update redefines the capabilities of the mc² audio consoles powered by the A__UHD Core Audio Engine, and adds native support for the Home mc² DSP App.
Software release 12.0.0 contains the following enhancements designed to streamline operations and elevate efficiency, and more:
- A newly designed Strip Assign page to simplify channel management, offer intuitive workflows and faster navigation to save setup time
- Integration with Waves SuperRack 14 systems adds ProLink protocol, to ensure seamless communication and reducing errors while allowing instant access to plug-ins
- Improvements to signal management designed to provide engineers with clear visual feedback, enhance operational clarity even in multi-console environments
- Native control of Home mc² DSP and the addition of 128 processing channels for the mc²36 MkII
Lawo mc2 56 MkIII audio production console
Lawo’s Home mc² DSP is a software alternative to the A__UHD Core processor in a CPU-based package for production workflows and is based on Lawo’s unified, open Home platform. Running on generic CPU platforms using cloud-native technologies and container-based microservices, the Home mc² DSP App is designed for agility and scalability for complex audio production workflows. The Home mc² DSP App provides up to 2048 input processing channels with the mc²-grade DSP architecture, natively supporting immersive formats.
