NEC Display Solutions of America, a leading provider of commercial-grade digital signage displays and projectors, announces the P506QL projector. Joining the P Series, the P506QL combines Native 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution with 5,000 lumens of brightness.
The first in the NEC P Series projector lineup to offer Native 4K UHD resolution, the P506QL offers a maintenance-free solution by using laser-based projection, eliminating the need for bulb replacement. The projector’s 1-Chip DLP technology supports extended use applications, with a light source the lasts a minimum 20,000 hours.
The P506QL also offers a broad 1.5x zoom lens, lens shift capabilities (H= +/- 20%/V= +/-60), and built-in HDBaseT support for installations in challenging environments. Its 360˚ tilt-free rotation and portrait orientation capabilities add versatility, and its HDBaseT technology is designed to reduce installation costs and cuts down on cable clutter.
“We set out to create a projector that would provide unparalleled levels of resolution and brightness for customers that need to make an impression with their projection," says Ryan Pitterle, Product Manager. “The P506QL is designed to provide the ideal presentation experience and provides captivating, long-lasting visuals that can hold the attention of any audience."
The P506QL caters to customers that have intricate content or images that they need to present in great detail. With its long-lasting capabilities, the P506QL is designed for churches, higher education, retail spaces, corporate conference rooms, and museums.
The 4K UHD resolution offered by the P506QL is designed for projection consistency. This technology offers the ability to use the same content across all 4K displays and provide the same, consistent resolution.
The P506QL also is covered under NEC’s warranty: owners are covered for five years or 20,000 hours (whichever comes first) parts and labor, including NEC’s InstaCare next business day exchange.
The P506QL will be available to order starting June 1, 2020. MAP for the unit is $4,299. For more information on the projector and its features, visit www.necdisplay.com.
