Keeping productions running smoothly and the workspace tidy is a priority at WholeLife Church. When StageStrike was called to help with wireless audio, they found the space immaculate.
“WholeLife Church in Orlando, Florida is a marvel of modern worship production,” StageStrike’s announcement about the project states. “From the moment you step into the worship space, you're struck by the immaculate stage design, where every element is carefully curated to ensure a visually clean and professional environment. Not a single cable is out of place, the speakers seem to vanish into the architecture, and the entire audio-visual experience feels effortless—as if the sound and visuals appear by magic.”
The church’s productions can be experienced firsthand on the church’s YouTube channel (WholeLife Orlando), where the quality execution of live production is on display. Yet, despite a world-class setup, there was one lingering challenge that had persisted for years—the chaotic deployment of microphones and in-ear monitors.
WholeLife Church is a uniquely diverse community, with its worship experience shifting from week to week. Some weekends feature a full orchestra, others a modern band, and some a completely acapella performance. With such a dynamic environment, managing the deployment of wireless microphones and body packs had always been a frustrating process.
The church’s production team is led by Tech Director Abel Aponte. “We used to put the microphones and body packs on the seats,” says Aponte. “The problem was, they would fall on the floor, or a kid would grab one. It was a constant mistake and a constant rush to deploy.”
For a church where everything is designed to operate smoothly, this one loose end was in stark contrast to the otherwise quality production environment. When WholeLife Church discovered StageStrike, Aponte says everything changed. The introduction of StageStrike’s miQb and packHolder system transformed the way the church deployed its wireless audio gear.
“StageStrike helped us create a system that is color-coded in a way that makes it so easy for singers to know exactly where to go,” Aponte explains. “Microphones and body packs now have dedicated, clearly marked spots, and swapping them in and out between services is seamless. It’s so user-friendly—it’s been a complete game changer.”
This seemingly small adjustment has eliminated the last bit of pre-service stress for the production team. No more scrambling to locate misplaced body packs or untangle last-minute microphone issues. Now, every piece of gear has its place, mirroring the clean, efficient look and feel of WholeLife Church’s broader production environment. Beyond the sheer functionality of StageStrike’s products, Aponte and his team appreciate the values behind the brand.
“One of the main reasons we support StageStrike is because it’s a U.S.-made company based in Orlando, Florida, and we love to support our local businesses,” he shares.
WholeLife Church’s commitment to excellence extends beyond its tech—it’s about creating an immersive, distraction-free experience for the congregation. By eliminating the last point of friction in their production workflow, Aponte says StageStrike has helped bring their vision of a pristine, world-class worship environment full circle.
