Accsoon is introducing Accsoon CoMo SE Wi-Fi based full-duplex intercom headsets. Battery life is designed for 30 hours or more on a single charge. It gives smaller crews 2.4 GHz solution for on-set communication.
“Accsoon’s extensive experience in wireless transmission systems has allowed them to create a system that has class leading stability and performance at an affordable price point,” according to the announcement. “The CoMo SE headsets are cleverly designed with a powerful external antenna and advanced electronics that give the system an impressive 400m/1300ft range (line of sight), without the need for a base station.”
CoMo SE headsets are either Host or Slave, denoted by an orange button for Host and black button for Slave. A single Host can connect to up to four slave headsets for a total of five.
The microphone of each CoMo SE headset has an intuative ‘flip to mute’ function. Users move the microphone arm upwards to mute and move it down to speak.
The CoMo SE also has Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) to filter out background noise in louder environments like concerts and sporting events.
User comfort is also a part of the CoMo SE headset design. The ergonomics take differing human head form into account, with a wide range of physical adjustments for head size. They can also be worn with the microphone on the left of the right side.
With an extended battery life of 30+ hours the CoMo SE headsets are designed to power through the entire workday on a single charge. For super extended operating times the rechargeable battery can be replaced with a spare. The battery can be recharged in less than 2 hours.
CoMe SE is priced at $99 US for each headset. A kit comprising a single host headset and four slaved units kit (1H4R) is available for $489 US. The 1H4R 5 headset kit comes with a carry case and battery charger.
