ADJ’s PAR Z Series blends the look of traditional PAR cans with the advantages of C.O.B. LED technology. Building on the existing lineup, the series now includes four new models designed for more powerful LED engines, improved optical clarity, and integrated Aria X2 wireless connectivity. Made for use in a wide array of applications — including concerts, theatrical productions, house of worship and other live events — the new fixtures expand on creative potential while preserving the traditional PAR can aesthetic.
The PAR Z300 3K features a 300-Watt warm white (3000K) C.O.B. (Chip On Board) LED engine that delivers an output of up to 8,878 Lux with a CRI of 97. Alternatively, the PAR Z300 6K utilizes a powerful 300-Watt cool white (6000K) C.O.B. LED engine, offering an output of up to 13,980 Lux with a CRI of 95. Both fixtures integrate a manual zoom function, allowing the beam angle to be adjusted between 9°, 15°, 20°, 25°, 30°, 35°, and 40°.
For applications that require colored output, the PAR Z300 RGBA offers a versatile quad-color C.O.B. LED engine that combines red, green, blue and amber LED chips. These can be independently dimmed to create a wide spectrum of output colors, including white light with color temperature variable between 2300K and 9900K. Delivering an output of up to 5,230 Lux with a CRI above 90, this fixture offers the same manual zoom options as the white light models.
Offering the added convenience of an integrated rechargeable battery, the PAR Z150 RGBA Plus is designed for applications where running power cables isn’t possible. It features a 150-Watt quad-color C.O.B. LED engine capable of outputting up to 1,360 Lux with a CRI greater than 90. Its internal lithium-ion battery is designed for five hours of continuous operation at full output and up to 20 hours in reduced power mode. This model offers selectable zoom options of 7°, 11.5°, 16°, 20.5°, or 25°.
All four models are equipped with an Aria X2 transceiver, enabling both wireless DMX control and remote device management via a smartphone app. In addition, each fixture features 5-pin DMX input and output sockets, as well as locking power input/output sockets, allowing multiple units to be daisy-chained from a single power source. Each unit is also supplied with a removable frame, which can be used to hold a color gel or diffusion filter.
“With these new additions to the PAR Z Series, we’re giving lighting designers even more tools to unleash their creativity,” comments ADJ USA’s Director of Sales, Alfred Gonzales. “By combining the classic PAR can form factor with modern LED power, battery operation, wireless control, and high CRI output, we’re providing lighting professionals with reliable, flexible solutions that meet the evolving demands of today’s productions.”
These new PAR Z fixtures are available now through authorized ADJ dealers and distributors in the USA. They are scheduled to begin shipping from ADJ Europe in June 2025.
