ADJ Lighting announces release of the Hexcon L, a next-generation hardware lighting controller designed to give lighting professionals flexible control over ADJ’s HEX Series RGBAL+UV and RGBWA+UV LED fixtures. Building on features of the original Hexcon, the new Hexcon L adds enhanced lime-centric features and modern conveniences for both permanent installations and live event productions.
The Hexcon L provides 36 channels of DMX control, made for independent operation of up to six HEX Series fixtures. With 24 pre-programmed color macro buttons and six user-programmable preset buttons, the unit gives operators access to a wide range of colors and custom looks. Multi-function faders provide real-time control over red, green, blue, amber, lime and UV intensities, while dedicated controls for chase speed, fade time, master dimmer, and strobe effects allow for on-the-fly adjustments. Additionally, there are 24 quick cue color macro buttons, along with six white color temperatures preset buttons (2300K, 2700K, 3200K, 4000K, 5600K & 6000K).

Another new feature is its integrated USB charging port, which allows users to keep their phone or tablet powered during events.

Measuring 14.2” x 7.2” x 2.7” (360 x 183 x 69mm) and weighing 4 lbs. (1.74kg), the Hexcon L’s compact form factor is suited to theaters, churches, events, and permanent installations. Its construction provides durability during transport and use, while a straightforward layout that includes a five-pin DMX output is designed for both experienced lighting operators and beginners.
