BassBoss returns to InfoComm 2025, June 11–13 at the Orange County Convention Center, with product demonstrations and immersive educational sessions.
“Known for loudspeakers that deliver high-impact performance and exceptional clarity, BassBoss invites attendees to experience what’s possible when sound is designed for emotional resonance and real-world application,” the announcement states.
BassBoss Demonstrations
In demo room W230B, BassBoss will be showcasing the Stackatoa system—a 10-foot-tall rig that fuses the Krakatoa, a Quintuple 18" Point Source Full Range Loudspeaker, with the Makara-MK3 Double 21" Subwoofer and the Kraken-MK3, a Quad 21" Powered Subwoofer.
“Together, these components form a four-way powered loudspeaker system engineered for precise control, full-range impact, and visceral low-frequency energy,” according to the announcement.
Live demonstrations of this system will take place daily, from 9:00–10:00 AM, 11:00 AM–12:00 PM, 1:00–2:00 PM, and 3:00–4:00 PM, hosted by Samia Scoda, National Sales Manager at American Music & Sound.
Educational Sessions
In addition to these demo sessions, BassBoss will present two educational talks exploring the emotional and psychological power of sound system design. On Wednesday, June 11 and Thursday, June 12 at 2:00 PM, David Lee will lead "Manipulating the Subconscious With Sound," a thought-provoking session that challenges attendees to consider how sound systems are not just tools for coverage and clarity—but instruments of influence.
“From the architecture of emotion to the responsibility of power, this session looks at the real reason we build systems that move people,” the release states.
On Friday, June 13, Dr. Paul Mayer will take the stage at 2:00 PM with "Predicting Bass Performance: Tools and Techniques for Low-Frequency Shaping," an introduction to the PredictBass tool and the importance of system foresight in challenging spaces. At 2:30 PM, he’ll follow up with "Visualize It, Align It, Own It: Combining PredictBass and ControlBass for Smarter Installs," a deeper dive into how predictive planning and on-site tuning can be used together to create installations that feel intentional and impactful.
Meet Dr. Paul Mayer
“Signal processing engineer by day, DJ and producer by night, Paul Mayer lives and breathes audio. With a PhD in Digital Signal Processing from Rice University, Paul brings deep technical expertise to BassBoss, where he develops breakthrough products and educational tools. His passion for music extends beyond the lab—Paul has performed everywhere from Astros Stadium to White Oak Music Hall, blending scientific precision with real-world performance,’ Mayer’s bio states.
