Elation is improving its Paragon line with the release of Ultra Dimming firmware and other new features designed to further refine these advanced LED profile luminaires.
Ultra Dimming
Paragon’s new Ultra Dimming system utilizes an advanced dual CRI LED engine and electronic driver system for dimming accuracy and low-level smoothness. This new approach to LED control is designed for precise, low-level dimming control at a high refresh rate of 25 kHz. Ultra Dimming is made for seamless intensity transitions, even at the lowest dimming levels and slowest crossfades, while maintaining optimum refresh rates to minimize camera interference. Operation is 100% flicker-free.
Interchangeable Optics and Intelligent Control
In addition to its unique variable CRI LED array, Paragon features interchangeable lenses for fluid conversion between Fresnel and PC Wash Beam configurations. With automatic lens detection, Paragon intelligently adjusts control settings and fine-tunes optics for optimal output and field control.
Theater Mode and Enhanced Quiet Operation
A specialized Theater Mode further reduces sound levels by slowing specific motors to decrease audibility and resonance. This mode can be remotely activated via the control channel, allowing the fixture to adapt to specific situations as needed during the performance. Other low-noise modes have also been refined for even quieter operation.
All of these feature refinements are also included in the new Paragon LT, which is designed for even higher intensity and a more narrow zoom for long-throw impact, while remaining compact and lightweight.
New Flagship Series
Elation’s Paragon series is the company’s new flagship fixture line, reflecting years of R&D development and collaboration with top lighting designers. Available in three models (S, M, LT) to suit different venue scales and needs, each fixture is IP54-rated and built with flexibility in mind. Paragon features an interchangeable lens system, Elation’s proprietary TruTone variable CRI technology, and a comprehensive suite of creative design tools — all within a compact, rugged housing.
