Elation announces two new additions to its SŌL Blinder Series, the SŌL II and SŌL IV fixtures. Featuring ultra-bright 2- and 4-cell configurations, the SŌL II and SŌL IV are designed for enhanced power, flexibility, and durability.
“Blinders have long needed a creative overhaul, and Elation has delivered,” the announcement states. “Equipped with the same RGBLAW LED engine and accepting the same front lens accessories as the popular SŌL I Blinder, these new models have exponentially expanded the common blinder’s creative potential!”
Featuring RGB+Lime+Amber+White LED engines with 93+ CRI and an IP65 rating, both fixtures are made to deliver extreme brightness and color accuracy. The SŌL II’s two 350W LED engines radiate a combined 30,750 lumens of output, while the SŌL IV takes it up a notch with four 350W engines delivering 59,830 lumens.
“Whether used as standalone units or integrated into larger lighting designs, both fixtures provide an exceptional canvas for creativity, making them ideal for any lighting setup,” the announcement continues.
The SŌL II Blinder doubles the creative potential with two fixtures in one modular unit, designed for greater flexibility in creative configurations and designs. Maintaining all the features of the SŌL I Blinder, its housing allows seamless connection on all sides to build lighting arrays, custom shapes, and versatile effects panels.
The SŌL IV Blinder, features a grid of four fixtures. Like the SŌL I and SŌL II, the SŌL IV offers the same technology and LED engine but with more significant creative potential through its multi-fixture design. It can be interconnected in endless configurations with additional SŌL IV units, as well as the SŌL I and SŌL II models, giving designers the freedom to craft expansive arrays, intricate shapes, and dynamic effects that adapt to any stage or event setup.
Both models come equipped with fully variable 16-bit color temperature adjustment (1800K - 8500K) for ultimate precision, along with dim-to-warm and redshift emulation for a classic incandescent glow. CMY emulation and a virtual gel library allow users to access vibrant LED colors and pre-mixed shades, while advanced dimming curves and strobe effects further enhance creativity.
Optional lens accessories, including a Bowens mount adapter and a variety of mounting options give designers the flexibility to craft unique visual experiences tailored to each performance.
The fixtures’ modern aesthetic and IP65 rating allow integration into indoor or outdoor environments.
