Eliminator Lighting has introduced the Mega Color Q18, a 1-meter linear LED wash fixture designed for color washes, pixel effects, and visual displays. Combining RGBA color mixing with individual pixel control in a lightweight housing, the Mega Color Q18 is designed for mobile entertainers, production companies, clubs, stages, houses of worship, and permanent installations.
Equipped with 18 4-watt RGBA (Red, Green, Blue, Amber) 4-in-1 color mixing LEDs, the Mega Color Q18 is made for rich saturated colors, smooth pastel shades, and warm amber-enhanced tones. Its 25-degree beam angle provides wash coverage while also designed for stage backdrops, scenic lighting and wall washing applications.
“A standout feature is its individual pixel control, allowing the color of each LED to be selected independently for animated chases, flowing color transitions, pixel-mapped effects, and dynamic visual looks,” according to the announcement. “Whether used as a stage wash, decorative feature, or creative effects fixture, it gives lighting designers the flexibility to produce impressive visual displays with ease.”
The fixture offers five DMX channel modes (4, 6, 9, 72, and 74 channels), made for both simple wash applications and detailed pixel programming. In addition to DMX512 control, it also features Primary-Secondary operation, Auto Mode, and Sound Active Mode, while built-in color macros, color chase programs, and electronic strobe effects allow creation of impactful lighting without an external controller.
Setup and operation are straightforward with an onboard 4-digit, 7-segment LED display, while 3-pin XLR DMX input/output and locking power input/output connections simplify installation and allow power linking. An integrated mounting bracket also doubles as a floor stand, providing flexible positioning options for a wide range of applications.

The fixture features LEDs are rated for up to 50,000 hours, professional connectivity, and a streamlined design measuring just under one meter in length and weighing 4.6 pounds (2.1 kg).
