LAIA Technologies announces the company will be showing their full breadth of cameras at InfoComm 2025. The cameras have the company’s latest generation AI-enabled functions built-in, and are designed to work seamlessly with audio solutions from top manufacturers. They will also demonstrate their latest camera set-up and control software. “Laia technologies will demonstrate at InfoComm 2025 (booth 4169) how to both increase your PTZ and collaboration camera performance and reduce your system commissioning costs,” the announcement states.
LAIA Technologies will show their offerings for higher education (the company is a HETMA Gold Partner) and demonstrate camera systems designed for corporate collaboration, courtroom, faith, broadcast, and live event applications.
“This year more than ever, it’s not just about the camera unit itself,” says George Meglio, VP of Business Development at Laia Technologies North America. “It’s about giving you the tools to design and install the camera ecosystem more efficiently, more quickly, and without the need for costly add-ons that drive up complexity and costs. With our solutions, there is less troubleshooting in the set-up, and starting day two there’s less equipment for the support team to take care of and troubleshoot.”
Key to Laia’s camera offerings is their new IAVS (Intelligent Audio Visual Systems) software that leverages advanced API’s to allow the seamless operation of Laia cameras with other AV system components such as third party beam forming mics from Nureva, Shure, and Sennheiser – designed for better audio tracking, and more. The software tracks and switches cameras automatically based on voice detection information, providing a single virtual camera output combining up to four Laia PTZ IP cameras to Teams, Zoom, or Google conferencing software.
“The performance of our new cameras is astounding, the smoothness and versatility of the tracking, the optical performance, the latest AI,” says Gary Plavin, President, LAIA Technologies North America. “But smart integrators are focusing also on the software that drives PTZ cameras. With our package, not only do you need fewer components to get the system up and running, the software allows more, better, and easier customization of your system. Our unique software is key to how we help eliminate the spiraling commissioning costs around camera set-up and deployment.”
Executives and engineers from Laia Technologies North America will be showing their camera lines, and latest software platforms, at the LAIA booth (4169) at the InfoComm trade show in Orlando, June 11-13, 2025.
