Manfrotto is expanding the One platform with the launch of One Video, a dedicated support solution designed specifically for video production. Building on the success of the One Hybrid and One Photo tripods, One Video brings together smooth camera movement, rapid setup, and professional control in a system tailored to the needs of modern videographers and content creators.
Alongside the new tripod system, Manfrotto is also introducing the 502X Fluid Video Head, a new video head designed for creators and filmmakers who require greater payload capacity and more precise fluid control.
"The One platform was created to support the way modern creators work," says Sofia Braccio, Senior Product Manager at Manfrotto. "Following the launch of One Hybrid and One Photo, One Video extends the platform with a solution dedicated to video production. Whether creators are producing interviews, branded content, documentaries, travel films, or social media content, One Video combines the stability, speed, and control needed to work confidently in any environment."
Designed and built in Italy, the One Video Aluminium Tripod combines portability with stability for professional video productions. Its non-round leg profile is designed to improve torsional rigidity and maintain stability during panning movements, while remaining lightweight for transport.
The tripod features Manfrotto's patented XTend mechanism, allowing all leg sections to deploy simultaneously in a single movement for faster setup and height adjustment. Designed specifically for video production, ONE Video incorporates an integrated levelling system designed to allow creators to achieve horizon alignment in seconds, eliminating guesswork and helping ensure level shots without interrupting the flow of production. Adjustable leg angles and modular feet provide support across a wide range of shooting environments, while integrated Easy Link connections allow monitors, lights, microphones, and other accessories to be mounted directly to the tripod.
One Video is available with a choice of two fluid video heads (500X and the new 502X), allowing creators to select the configuration best suited to their production requirements.
The 500X Fluid Head is designed for mirrorless creators who need smooth movement, fast adjustment, and flexible framing. Its Fluid Drag System delivers controlled pan and tilt movement, while a hinged camera plate makes it easier to switch between landscape and portrait orientations, supporting a growing demand for vertical video production. The built-in selectable counterbalance system, optimized for cameras weighing 2.4 kg at a 55 mm centre of gravity, helps maintain balance and control during shooting.
For creators working with larger camera systems, the new 502X Fluid Video Head offers increased payload capacity and enhanced control. Supporting camera systems up to 8 kg, the 502X features Manfrotto's Variable Continuous Fluid Drag System on both pan and tilt axes, designed for smooth, precise movement across a wide range of professional video applications. Its counterbalance system, optimised for 4.4 kg at a 55 mm centre of gravity, is designed to maintain stability and reduce operator effort during extended shoots.
Both heads feature Manfrotto's side-lock camera plate mechanism with top attachment for camera mounting and balancing, and both are fully compatible with the XChange quick release ecosystem, designed for rapid transitions between tripods, sliders, dollies, and other support systems without tools.
"Video creators often need to move quickly between locations, setups, and shooting styles," adds Braccio. "One Video was designed to remove friction from that process, helping creators adapt quickly while maintaining the smooth movement and reliable support that professional video production demands."
The Manfrotto One Video Aluminium Tripod Systems, available with either the 500X or 502X Fluid Video Head, are available now from authorized Manfrotto dealers worldwide. The 502X Fluid Video Head is also available separately.
