Nanlux Evoke 600C
Nanlux is introducing two new fixtures to be showcased September 12–15 at the IBC Show in RAI Amsterdam (booth 12.F21).
The Evoke 600C is a full-color point source light. Powered by the Nebula C8 Color Light Engine, it offers an ultra-wide 1,000K–20,000K range with outstanding color performance and new levels of skin tone rendition. IP66 protection boosts reliability in extreme weather conditions.
The Evoke 150C is a compact and lightweight 150W full-color light designed for on-the-go lighting and flexible setups. The compact all-in-one fixture is also equipped with Nanlux’s new Nebula C8 Light Engine, designed for wide color temperature range, broad color gamut coverage, excellent light quality, and precise dimming performance.
The new Nebula C8 engine builds on the established Nanlux RGBLAC six-color engine by adding deep red and indigo colors that fill the gaps in the spectrum found in traditional color engines. The Nebula C8 engine comprises dR (Deep Red), R (Red), A (Amber), L (Lime), G (Green), C (Cyan), B (Blue), and I (Indigo) colors.
Both Evoke 600C and 150C offer six built-in lighting modes including CCT, HSI, RGBW, XY Coordinates, Gel, and Effect modes. They have ultra-precise 0.1% dimming, designed for stable low-end performance for smooth fade-in and fade-out transitions.
Evoke 600C
The Evoke 600C has a professional all-in-one design that integrates lamp head, control unit, and power supply into a single 7.26 kg/16.01lb unit, measuring 358×246×205 mm/14.1×9.7×8.1".
The fixture’s all-in-one magnesium-alloy housing is designed to be light, easy to transport, and durable. It has the new BE-mount, which can recognize compatible modifiers and control an optional motorized Fresnel. It is compatible with a wide range of Bowens mount accessories and, via an adapter, is also compatible with NL mount modifiers.
The Evoke 600C is designed for exceptional output and quality. It provides powerful white and colored light – serving as a key light in smaller locations, or a fill light in larger scenes. With a 20,820 lux at 3 m (with 25° reflector, 5600K), the light is made for almost any production.
The BE-mount has NANLUX’s unique PosiTight locking system to eliminate movement and provide additional security to modifiers. The yoke is offset with a dual-side locking mechanism and additional 1/4”-20 and 3/8” threads for accessory mounting. Balance adjusting rails allow the light to be moved forward and backward on the yoke to achieve perfect balance with different accessories attached.
The fixture’s extension port supports control devices, signal routing, and motorized accessories. An AC/DC input allows direct power from wall outlets (100–240V) or DC sources (48V/12.5A).
The Evoke 600C shares the same intuitive control logic as other Evoke fixtures, with a 2.4-inch display, three knobs, and four buttons. It supports multiple control options including the Nanlux wired remote controller, Nanlink App 2.0, DMX/RDM, LumenRadio CRMX, Art-Net/sACN, and remote controller. Thanks to a built-in NFC function, it can also pair instantly with an NFC-enabled phone or tablet running the Nanlink App 2.0.
Evoke 150C
It is a multi-purpose light that can run off AC, V-mount batteries, or USB-PD power. It can be easily hidden in tight spaces and concealed behind props. Using the light, filmmakers can handle tasks like detail accent lighting and moving fill lighting.
The Evoke 150C has robust yet lightweight metal construction and is IP66-rated for use in harsh conditions. It uses the new FE mount, which has automated modifier recognition and control with appropriate attachments, and is also compatible with the existing FM mount accessory ecosystem.
Manu conventional large, heavy fixtures can be difficult to position and move around in smaller spaces. The Evoke 150C addresses this: weighing 2.65 kg/5.84 lb (lamp head with yoke) and measuring 209×147×127mm/8.2×5.8×5.0”, yet delivering an output of 22,230 lux at 1 m (5600K, with 45° reflector) and 10,200 lux at 1 m (green, with 45° reflector). It does all this with a 150W power draw. It is equally capable of being used as a fill light for large scenes, or as a key or rim light in confined spaces.
Nanlux designs the Evoke 150C to be quick and easy to set up and use. The fixture combines the lamp head, control unit, and power supply into a single compact body, requiring a power cable or a V-mount battery via D-Tap for operation. The Evoke 150C is more compact than most comparable lights, using lightweight magnesium alloy with an optimized internal structure. The IP66 rating ensures reliable performance against dust, sand, heavy rain, and other extreme conditions.
The Evoke 150C uses the FE mount with electronic contacts to attach modifiers, including the new motorized yoke and Fresnel lens (FL-12E) options, providing precise remote control for fixtures mounted high up or in hard-to-reach locations.
The Evoke 150C also remains compatible with the FM mount ecosystem, allowing users to utilize their existing accessories. For fixed mounting, the kit includes a 5/8" Baby Pin with Quick Release Plate (AS-BP-QRS), which attaches directly to the fixture’s quick-release base, enabling fast and versatile setup anywhere on set.
