Designed for podcasters, radio broadcasters, YouTubers, and live streaming, PreSonus introduces the new PD-70 Dynamic Broadcast Microphone. According to the announcement, this mic “is built to capture the spoken word cleanly and clearly while eliminating mechanical noise and breathiness that can get between you and your audience.”
Because of its off-axis rejection, users can set up a broadcast studio in a wide variety of spaces. The mic is designed to ignore unwanted reverberance, electrical hum, or the random car driving by, revealing only the natural sound of the speaker’s voice.
Designed to be a ruggedly built, dynamic end-address mic with a cardioid polar pattern. The PD-70 features a 50 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB) frequency range. An integrated windscreen reduces plosives for a smooth, professional broadcast sound. It also includes an integrated hard mount.
The PreSonus PD-70 is available now at a U.S. street price of $129.95. For more information, visit www.presonus.com/products/PD-70.
