PreSonus is launching a new special edition line of StudioLive Digital Mixers featuring DSP, scalable I/O with Milan-certified networking, flexible routing, and a complete software suite for recording and mixing.
“Designed to inspire and built to perform, StudioLive Series III SE digital mixers deliver pristine, ultra-low noise, studio-quality sound to the stage. With StudioLive Series III SE, you get access to capabilities beyond any solution in its class—like Virtual Soundcheck, Metro remote access, live multitrack recording, and playback—giving you the confidence to tackle any performance,” according the the PreSonus release.
StudioLive SE 16
The all-new Mixers will be available in three models: SE 16, 24, and 32 and include these new features:
• FlexMixes and Buses
StudioLive offers nearly infinite mix configuration. Set up 16 FlexMixes as auxes, subgroups, or matrix mixes to match any workflow. Four dedicated effects buses add reverb and delay without affecting monitor mixes, while four subgroups simplify processing for drums, vocals, and more—and with 24 DCAs for group control.
•Integrated Recording
The unique 64x64 bidirectional audio interface allows recording individual channels and routing to plug-in racks. Playback streams appear instantly with one button—no extra routing needed.
•Flexible Routing
With StudioLive, any of four available sources can be patched to any channel. Instantly switch between analog inputs or digital returns (AVB, USB, or SD Card) and route audio freely to networked devices or a computer.
•Customized Configurations and User Settings
Create a custom fader layout with the user layer for faster access to critical channels. Soft patching routes the same source to multiple channels for parallel processing or simultaneous Front of House and Monitor mixing, while Master FX mutes offer instant processing bypass. User profiles and permissions give administrators full control to lock access to EQ, dynamics, gain staging, scenes, projects, and level limits to keep less experienced operators on track.
• Sound Quality
PreSonus’ XMAX-Remote Preamps are designed for pure analog tone with digital recall. Studio-grade 32-bit floating-point DSP delivers precise processing, while 115 dB A/D-D/A converters and low-jitter clocking ensure dynamic range.
A Free firmware update for all StudioLive Series III Digital Mixers includes:
- Milan-certified AVB networking
- Complete fat channel collection with all 7 EQ models and all 8 compressor models
- Improved limiter with variable release
- Extended parameter set for digital reverb XL with updated factory presets for every model
