SmallHD announces the release of its Camera Control for Canon Cinema Cameras. This new integration enables filmmakers to adjust critical camera settings directly from their SmallHD monitor, to streamline production and save time on set.
Built on SmallHD’s award-winning PageOS platform, the Camera Control software gives users the ability to view their shot, fine-tune camera settings, and navigate deep Canon menu systems without leaving the monitor interface. With Camera Control for Canon, users can:
- Adjust shutter speed, aperture, ISO, ND, codec, and trigger record start/stop
- Use touch-to-focus functionality
- Access and control the full camera menu
- Combine Canon Camera Control with other PageOS monitoring tools on customizable pages
Camera Control is currently available for the following Canon cameras:
- EOS C300 Mark III
- EOS C500 Mark II
- EOS C400
- EOS C70 - requires a USB-C to Ethernet adapter.
- EOS C80
