Sound Devices [North Hall Booth #N6321] will be exhibiting at InfoComm 2026, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada from June 17-19, 2026. The brand will demonstrate the Sound Devices Astral Wireless ecosystem, including the new Astral Mini Plus compact wireless transmitter pack, for touring, live theatre, and fixed installation use cases, as well as the latest features added by the V8.30 Firmware Update.
“The new Astral Mini Plus offers the familiar ergonomic form factor and rugged performance of the compact Astral transmitter lineage with several upgrades that make it the most full-featured bodypack on the market,” according to the announcement. “Astral Mini Plus features 8+ hours battery life, full 169-1525 MHz global tuning range, IP67 water resistance, and improved usability features for faster setup times and seamless operation. The new Mini Plus will provide dynamic, crystal-clear audio with flexible operation for all live touring, theater productions, and fixed RF integrations.”
Sound Devices has also added a set of new features to its Astral Wireless range with the new v8.30 firmware update – designed to streamline Astral’s workflow with more flexible routing options and full AstralComm integration with SoundBase. The latter gives engineers a more streamlined workflow for monitoring and adjusting Astral Wireless devices during coordination, designed for easier changing frequencies, renaming transmitters, and keeping essential information visible and easier to access.
“Astral Wireless is the most full-featured wireless toolkit on the market, designed to meet the ever-changing needs of a rapidly evolving RF landscape,” says Matt Anderson, CEO of Sound Devices. “The launch of Astral Mini Plus, along with continued firmware development and deeper software integrations, reflects our commitment to this constant evolution and our desire to provide high-quality solutions that reflect the day-to-day realities of the most demanding RF professionals.”
