When the first Nanlite PavoSlim LED Panels were launched in November 2023, they were immediately popular with news crews, filmmakers, houses of worship, and many other types of creators. Everyone appreciated their bright output, ultrathin yet rugged metal construction, and how they were fanless and silent, buy their most loved trait was how quickly they could be set up and broken down. Now Nanlite has announced 3 more fixtures: PavoSlim 240C, 240B, and 60CL.
The core principle behind PavoSlim is to make your production life easier without any compromises. That’s why the new PavoSlim 240C and 240B are both bright 2x2 panels that fold in half to a 2x1 size for easier transport and storage. Like the previous models, the C versions are RGBWW LED panels that also feature built-in LumenRadio CRMX. The space-efficient padded carrying case for the 240C and 240B are nearly the same size as the cases included with PavoSlim 120C and 120B. The new 240 models provide twice as much light without increasing the footprint.
The new PavoSlim 60CL features a unique 0.5 width and 2-foot length, making it ideal for lighting in confined spaces, like the interior of vehicles, or up high in a tight corner, hallway, or room. Its specs are nearly identical to the colorful 1x1 PavoSlim 60C panel. The new 60CL features Nanlite’s wildly popular quick-release softbox, which literally assembles and breaks down in seconds.
You can think of PavoSlims as providing most of the benefits of flexible light mats, except with incredibly quick set-up and tear down times, and around four times as much light output. They were designed to be mounted anywhere, especially overhead, and they’re so thin that you can almost always get them where you need them, even on the most confined sets.
