Housed in a sleek, curved metal body, the YDM series features a cardioid capsule carefully tuned to deliver clear and natural sound across a 60 Hz to 18 kHz range (YDM707).
The YDM Series incorporates a custom-designed cardioid capsule for precise capturing of the full range of expressive detail, from intimate spoken words to powerful shouts. This makes it ideal for diverse applications, including home production, streaming and house of worship settings where controlling environmental noise is crucial.
The capsule’s insulator uses a proprietary Yamaha material to reduce handling noise, allowing performers to focus on their delivery. The microphone's design, inspired by the bell curve of brass instruments, merges aesthetics with functionality and a comfortable grip.
