Blackmagic Videohub Mini 12G is a new family of compact 12G-SDI video routers designed for environments where rack space is limited but reliable signal routing is essential. Available in three models, Blackmagic Videohub Mini 12G includes a ⅓ rack width 4x2 model, a ½ rack width 6x2 model, and a ⅔ rack width 8x4 model. These routers deliver zero latency 12G-SDI routing with support for all SD, HD and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p60.
All models feature multi rate connections with built in SDI re-clocking on every input to ensure clean, stable signals over long cable runs, critical for worship environments where video often travels from cameras in the sanctuary to switchers, recorders and overflow rooms. The clean switch function, which is selected on the video outputs rather than being locked into the inputs, allows routing a specific source with clean switch to one output while switching the same source as a direct feed to other outputs, allowing re-sync processors to add or remove video frames from the video.
For flexibility, the Videohub Mini includes a front panel 12G-SDI input for emergency patching. This allows fast connection of guest equipment without rewiring real panel connections, ideal for accommodating last minute video needs during live services. The 6x2 and 8x4 models also include front panel 12G-SDI outputs. Additionally, a front USB-C port provides a webcam output, down converting Ultra HD to HD for direct integration with ProPresenter, Zoom and streaming software without additional hardware.
Routing is managed via dedicated front panel buttons, and all Videohub routers can be remotely controlled via Videohub Master Control Pro and Videohub Smart Control Pro hardware panels, or the free Videohub Software Control for Mac, Windows and iPad. The software offers customizable, icon-based buttons for fast source identification and touch screen workflows.
Localized in 13 languages and including a free SDK for integration into broadcast automation systems, Videohub Mini 12G combines professional broadcast reliability with compact rack mount design, making it an efficient signal management solution for church production teams scaling from HD to Ultra HD.
