Teradek ACE 500 Wireless Video
Teradek is now shipping the Ace 500, a compact, ultralight wireless video system designed to deliver uncompressed 1080p60 video at up to 500 ft. with zero delay. According to the release, "Ace 500 is designed with the same reliability and performance as the Teradek Bolt line, ensuring you have a continuous video feed when you need it the most."
Ace 500 can be connected to any HDMI camera including DSLRs, camcorders, and even action cams like GoPro. It is advertised as compact and lightweight with a 126g transmitter while and 146g receiver for gimbals and camera rigs of any size.
Video can be sent from one transmitter to up to four receivers simultaneously and crews can monitor shots as they happen. Ace 500 can be paired with any SmallHD monitor with built-in Bolt transmitters and receivers for an all-in-one, streamlined monitoring solution.
Optional battery plates attach directly to the transmitter and receiver. Ace comes with a single ¼-20” mounting point for mounting camera arms or hot shoes, and two 4-40” points for optional mounting brackets.
Pairing the Ace 500 RX with the Focus Bolt 500 TX creates a compact camera setup, allowing users to monitor the shot from the on-camera Focus Bolt’s touchscreen display and send video to Ace receivers within 500 ft. of wireless range
Pairing the Ace 500 TX with Focus Bolt RX's creates an all-in-one handheld wireless monitoring solution. The Focus integrated monitors are lightweight, ergonomic, and offer 500 ft. of wireless range to see the shot from anywhere on set.
