Canon EOS C700 FF Cinema Camera
Canon’s Matthew Carman, account manager of strategic sales, was on hand in the company’s booth at the 2018 Capture Content Creation & Filmmaking Summit put on by Church Production Magazine's Live Events arm this fall at Hope Community Church in Apex, N.C.
There, Carman showcased the company’s first full-frame camera option, the EOS C700 FF. At a $33,000 approximate price range, Carman notes that the 4.5K cinema camera is within the reach of some churches with filmmaking ministries.
Some highlights of the EOS C700 FF include:
· A full-frame CMOS sensor
· Capability of ProRes and XF-AVC internal recording up to 4K to CFast cards
· Optional Codex CDX-36150 recorder
· Ability to record 5.9K RAW up to 60 frames per second
