Schools and strip centers were typical meeting places for a portable Baptist church in Parkville, Mo., called Fellowship of Grace (FOG).
But then an opportunity to merge with and acquire a small Baptist church at a prominent corner in Parkville, Mo., became a reality. The church was able to sell a portion of its property to a developer, which helped fund the expansion and improvements.
The existing church building was in fair disrepair and needed updating to become a relevant tool for the ministries at FOG. For this job, the church turned to the design team at Kansas City, Mo.'s Mantel Teter.
The project included a campus master plan, and the concurrent phase included a lobby/entry addition that serves the existing building and the future sanctuary. The children’s ministry area was also expanded and renovated.
