A Chapel in the Georgia Pines Serves as a Welcome Retreat

A Christian retreat center offers up an authentic, warm, wooden chapel designed to fit into the surrounding forest and welcome in visitors for reflection and worship.

Completed in September 2016, Woodlands Chapel in Cleveland, Georgia, designed by Atlanta-based Bradfield, Richards, Rhodes and Associates Architects (BRRA), is part of Woodlands Camp. The Christian retreat center, built by Cleveland, Georgia-based Charles Black Construction Co., serves as a faith-centered sanctuary in nature for school students from elementary to high school, offering 131 acres and a spring-fed lake in North Georgia's Blue Ridge Mountains.
