Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, commissioned Dallas-based GFF Inc. for the renovation of its historic Robert Carr Chapel.
The popular wedding venue, the Georgian space is also used for worship services, memorials, concerts and Greek organization initiations. Utilized by a variety of on- and off-campus stakeholders for a wide variety of events with diverse requirements, according to a report by Farris Groth for GFF, the chapel received major functional improvements.

Groth noted, the rehabilitation project focused on increasing the flexibility and utility of the space, and on improving accessibility, convenience and security both for both general users and the disabled. Aesthetics and the refreshing of finishes was part of the renovation, as well as improvements to lighting and acoustics, integration of audio/visual technology, enlarging the chancel, and making its fixtures movable and more flexible within the space.
