The 168 Film Project has one deadline remaining for this year’s event. Producers looking to submit in the “Proof of Concept” category have until September 22nd to register. Registration costs $168.
This year’s theme for the films is time. The website states, “It’s about TIME! There are good times, bad times, old times and two times (now and eternity). This is our time! Spend it well, for you are ‘a mist that soon vanishes.’ Take this journey as we explore God’s plan for such a time as this!”
Speed film production week starts September 15th with all films to be turned in by the 22nd.
For 20 years 168 Film has provided filmmakers, screenplay writers, actors, technicians with unique resources and opportunities to explore, learn and practice their craft by telling great stories based on scripture in an allotted time frame.
The 2023 168 Film Festival will take place November 2-4th in Fayetteville, Georgia. The organizers are celebrating a new home and new collaboration with Angel Studios for this year’s faith-based film production competition.
