AJA is now shipping HA5-12G, “a powerful new Mini-Converter that allows users to convert an HDMI 2.0 input to two 12G-SDI single link outputs,” according to the company’s press release. HA5-12G supports EDID emulation, designed to ensure the connected source continuously supplies the desired video formats.
The HA5-12G-T Mini-Converter is also available, which includes all functionality of the HA5-12G, adding a 12G Fiber transmitter designed to extend HDMI 4K signals over long distances (10km Single Mode).
HA5-12G models include an international power supply, a USB port for firmware updates, and AJA's five year warranty.
