Teradek and Singular announce a partnership to bring professional graphic overlays to live streamers around the world. The new feature-set will be integrated into Core, Teradek’s cloud-based management and production platform.
According to the company’s release, “Singular helps content creators build and control graphics for their live streams by offering many of the same capabilities of professional broadcast solutions without the expense or complexity. With this new integration, live streamers will be able to make their content look more compelling and professional, with lower-thirds, scoreboards, tickers, bugs, and more.”
“We see so many companies claim that they’ve made live streaming simple, but the truth of the matter is that it’s already commonplace and incredibly easy to do,” says Michael Gailing, VP Product for Live Streaming and IP Video at Teradek. “What content creators really want is to offer compelling live experiences and to drive engagement, which is why we’re integrating with Singular. With attractive graphics, a typical single camera live stream can be transformed into a captivating production that results in increased viewer retention and an overall better viewing experience.”
Teradek is demonstrating a prototype of the new integration at NAB New York, October 17 - 18, in booth #N808. Teradek Bond, Cube, Slice, T-Rax, and VidiU Go users will gain access to the new graphics features in Q1 2019.
