The 2023 Capture Summit is almost here! Filmmaking, video production and social media are mission-critical elements to communicate the Gospel. Capture brings church techs, creatives, and senior leaders together in community to collaborate on the latest techniques and technologies to help tell God’s story in this rapidly changing world.
One of this year’s Capture sponsors is WorshipHouse Media, which offers mini movies, worship tracks, countdowns, backgrounds and so much more to churches without the resources to produce all of their media in house. We interviewed WorshipHouse Media Vice President of Business Development and Strategy Luke Miller to learn more about the company.
CPM: WorshipHouse Media offers a really interesting range of products. Tell us more about your approach to serving the church.
Miller: First and foremost, our passion is helping pastors and worship leaders creatively communicate the message of Jesus. A powerful video or image can draw people in, reinforce a life-changing message, and deepen someone's connection in worship. Over the last 18 years, we have worked with hundreds of artists and creators around the world to curate a library that churches can browse and search to find the perfect media for their services.
CPM: What are some of the more compelling use cases you’ve heard about WorshipHouse Media products being used in churches?
Miller: We serve tens of thousands of churches around the world, helping them take the visuals in their service to the next level. People walk into church with all kinds of baggage - stress from a week of work, tension from a fight on the way to church, etc. A beautiful, dynamic worship intro video can help shift the focus away from what someone brings with them and toward the Object of our worship. A sermon illustration video can reinforce a message that could literally change someone's life. We hear story after story from churches - big and small - that talk about how access to our comprehensive and affordable library helps them create powerful worship experiences.
CPM: What’s next for WorshipHouse Media? What can we expect to see from the company in the future?
Miller: WorshipHouse is always expanding our library of content, and we're currently focusing on expanding our network or creators - people who are already making videos and graphics for their churches. Through our platform, we can take creative content and make it available to thousands of churches all over the world. We want our library to serve every kind of church - rural or urban, traditional or modern, American or Global - and we're always looking for new producers to help us accomplish that diversity.
CPM: WorshipHouse Media is a major sponsor of the upcoming Capture Summit. What can we expect to see there?
Miller: We can't wait to be a part of the Filmcraft Festival. Each year, we love seeing what church-based filmmakers are making to connect with their folks. If you're a filmmaker or content producer, we'd love to connect with you at Capture and talk about ways we may be able to partner together.
