Meteor Lighting launches 4” Cylinder, a new 4-inch Cylinder downlight with a lumen package of 900-6000 lm. According to the company's press release, “It offers the highest lumen output in the 4-inch downlight category on the market. Combining innovative prismatic lens, advanced thermal beam technology, and contemporary rim design, this highly versatile luminaire offers unparalleled performance and efficacy.”
4” Cylinder's prismatic lens and glowing ring are designed for contemporary aesthetics and to reduce glare effect and enhance even light distribution. It has a 45-degree cut-off angle for visual comfort. The optional glowing ring can be added for a decorative effect.
Extending the new thermal beam structural design to the housing of the luminaire allows heat to be dispersed through the entire housing. In addition to increased thermal conductivity, the stack effect is implemented to the structure to increase convective cooling effect by 30%. The heat sink technology is designed to boost reliability and a longer lifetime.
Meteor's proprietary technology VXDMX Driver is designed to deliver optimal capability during recording and broadcasting with upgraded 16 bit fading resolution and RDM functions with smooth dimming to 0.4% dimmable rate. 4” Cylinder also offers advanced dimming capabilities of 0-10V, Triac, 3-wire, Eco System driver with minimum dimming level at 1%.
