Behold the FUJIFILM X-H2S. Our friend Rohn Starling, the content creator for Pastor Michael Todd at Transformation Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, took Fujifilms’s new offering for a spin.
“So that kind of functionality in a camera I think is efficient for people, especially if you’re shooting at a church,” Rohn says. “Why? Because we do things on Sundays. When do people need to see things? On Sunday. Usually right after church. And a lot of the problem for people like us—content creators, social media managers, or just creators in general—is sometimes it takes a long time for me to get set. I have to sit down, I have to change my SD cards, I have to load everything, I have to organize all my files, and then I can get started. But with this camera, you can connect directly to it without having to totally stop,”
That direct connection to Frame.io without having to pop out an SD card or set up a WiFi connection to a phone or laptop is the real kicker for Rohn.
“You can record it immediately, download it to the cloud, get it on your computer, chop it up, put captions on it, add a song, whatever it is that you need to do, and then export it immediately. And by the time my pastor’s off stage, I can have things in his hands or already post it,” Rohn says.

“We believe that social media is a window, not a wall to the things that we do. And in order to do that, you have to take pictures of everything. And also video is everything when it comes to content. So here’s the thing: in order to succeed in my job, I need to be able to know when to take pictures, and I also need to know when I should be taking video. If your camera does not have that functionality, you’re gonna have to hold two cameras.”
