In with the old, in with the new

Who says contemporary worship has to happen in an architecturally bland black box? Not Crossroads Church in Cincinnati, a modern multisite church that saved an historic uptown landmark and breathed new life into it.

The timeless beauty of its Uptown Campus lets present and future generations enjoy the authenticity of Old Saint George Church, listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

As writer Andy McDonough reports, the proud red brick structure with its twin steeples and soaring spires was designed in the Romanesque Revival style by a notable Cincinnati architect, Samuel Hannaford. Combine this rich architectural history with the incorporation of every conceivable tool of modern AVL technology, and a worship service at Crossroads Uptown is sure to delight the senses, and possibly heighten the worship experience.

Blessings,

Carol Badaracco Padgett
