Practicing what's preached
As humans, how often do we sit in church, hear one Message, and then go out into the real world and practice another entirely different set of principles with our families, co-workers, and neighbors? Ouch.
Chase Oaks Church's Local Good Center in Plano, Texas, is not designed for people's Sunday best—it's designed for a church family and its local community's weeklong best. Something like this, John 13:34 (NIV): “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another."
The Local Good Center's interior space is humbly functional and designed on a budget, but just look at the Christlike impact it's making.
