At the 2016 NAB Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, AJA has released its new HELO streaming and recording interface. Aimed at producers in the live-streaming market, the new interface allows users to both stream and record content simultaneously.
Featuring both 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs and outputs, the HELO can handle up to 1080p recording formats while incorporating a simple web-based UI for easy configuration. It allows users to simultaneously stream H.264 video signals directly to Web Content Delivery Networks while recording either to an SD card, USB drives, or network-based storage, with dedicated record and stream buttons for easy operation.
Along with its strong I/O features, the HELO interface comes with dual RCA jacks for audio monitoring and an additional USB port for IP address configuration and firmware updates via the online UI. Built with portability in mind, the compact size offers quick and intuitive streaming capability for live events, houses of worship, webcasting, and corporate applications.
The AJA HELO interface will be available soon through the company's worldwide reseller network for $1295.00.
