The “Tribe: Tech Team Development Conference,” part of the 12Stone Showcase event, will focus on helping churches maximize the health and success of their existing teams.
“Most church production folks are cut from the same cloth, they’re passionate about ministry and technology,” says Brian Blackmore, editor of Church Production Magazine and presenter at this Church Production LIVE! Event. “They also face many of the same challenges, including balancing home, spiritual and work life, effectively communicating with co-workers and volunteers, gaining support and credibility with senior leaders, in addition to keeping up with technological trends and the skills required for technical excellence. In this way church techs are part of the same tribe.”
Sessions will be taught by fellow tribe members, leading production team leaders from several well-known churches around the region, including Justin Firesheets from Church of the Highlands in Birmingham, Ala., Brian Poole from Elevation Church in Charlotte, N.C., Joel Yates from New Spring Church, Anderson, S.C., and Dustin Whitt of Atlanta’s 12Stone Church.
Sessions on recruiting, developing, training, managing and growing their on-staff and volunteer production teams will be included.
