Hitachi America, Ltd. introduces the LP-WU6500 laser projector as its newest member of the solid-state laser (SSL) projector line. This new projector has 5000 lumens and a resolution of WUXGA 1920x1200 pixels.
Hitachi’s release says the company continues efforts to provide end-users with a complete line of solutions for any installation and the LP-WU6500 is the next step toward having a comprehensive range of SSL projectors.
“At Hitachi, we work with designers, integrators and end-users to make sure we provide products that fit every type of installation — and do it well,” says Mike Morin, Manager, Strategic Sales Development, Hitachi America, Ltd.
“Expanding our line of SSL projectors was naturally the next step for us. We're proud of the 5000 lumen laser projector, and we did a lot of research and development work to make sure that it provides our customers with the right set-up and features that they need.”
Solid state laser projectors are designed to deliver a wide range of benefits including deeper, richer colors, with no compromise on brightness. A longer maintenance-free life, up to 20,000 hours, means laser projectors reduce maintenance costs and can be installed in hard-to-reach places without having to worry about changing lamps or replacing filters.
With WUXGA 1920x1200 resolution, Hitachi’s new 5000 lumen laser projector is equipped with a built-in 1.65x zoom lens, HDBaseT, and three HDMI digital inputs. Like other SSL projectors from Hitachi, the LP-WU6500 is eligible for the OneVision program for higher education facilities.
