Ross has released a new camera and chroma-key system at the 2016 NAB show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Developed to meet the growing demands of virtual green screen environments, the ACID camera line and Carbonite UltrachromeHR systems work hand in hand, allowing for greater resolution and keying composition without the need for constant adjustment from operators.
The ACID line of cameras features the H200, which the company says has the highest resolution and performance of any 1080P system available on the market and built with high-end virtual broadcast applications in mind. The moderately priced Z50 still offers many similar benefits but in a more cost-effective package, aimed at robotic camera solutions for corporate and house of worship applications. Both cameras integrate with the company's DashBoard control system, offering a complete solution from capture to final output.
Built to meet the demands of multi-camera virtual environments, the Carbonite UltrachromeHR is a multi-channel chroma key processor was built to handle higher resolution needs in addition to dynamic lighting environments and responsive applications. The system includes up to four high-resolution chroma keyers, each with full control of delay management, fill color temperature for scene matching, foreground key and fill, internal storage for animated graphics, and much more.
