The publishers of Church Production Magazine announce sponsors for the next Church Production LIVE! Showcase. The educational event will take place at Mosaic in Hollywood, Calif., November 1-2, 2016. Attendees will experience Mosaic's new audio, video and lighting systems, including an all-4K video production workflow used for streaming, filmmaking, and archiving.
Sony will serve as the event's platinum sponsor, offering the Sony Pictures Studios tour as an optional day-two for attendees. The event's two gold sponsors are ETC, manufacturer of lighting and rigging technology, and Clear-Com, provider of professional real-time communications solutions. Silver sponsors include lighting professionals High End Systems and Elation Professional.
Mosaic is described by the Associated Press as a “congregation full of hip twenty-somethings who mostly work in the film industry.” Immersed in one of the most creative and entrepreneurial regions of the world, Mosaic is driven beyond the cutting edge of technology—working with suppliers who don't just offer state-of the-art equipment, but who are inventing the future of technology.
“Sony Faith is excited to be a part of Church Production LIVE! Showcase. We look forward to sharing what our partner Mosaic and Pastor Erwin McMannus is doing with our 4K technology to share the Gospel in an incredible way,” says Craig Harper, national manager, Sony Faith.
“The second day at the historic Sony Pictures Studios lot will give those in attendance a rare opportunity to hear from the head of Sony Pictures' Affirm Films, our studio devoted to faith and family films like War Room and Risen. Plus, the head of technology for Sony Pictures Entertainment will speak on how to use 4K for HD and discuss workflow for film and television. Attendees will also see behind the scenes where some of the most iconic moments in film and television were shot, and have the chance to talk with professionals who are creating today's top television shows and movies,” he adds.
“The Great Commission tells us to go unto the entire world and share the message of Jesus. I believe that technology is the vehicle to effectively do this. Using todays technology to create content that is compelling is key to reaching generations,” Harper says.
