Vanguard LED Displays, formerly Aeson LED Video Displays, announces the release of the new processor Zero. Intended for use specifically with LED screens, this new processor is designed to receive 4,096 x 2,160 images at 60 Hz and output up to 16,384 pixels of width.
According to the manufacturer, the new Vanguard Zero processor is so named because the processor has zero frames of latency. This is a critical when shooting live video with cameras for LED.
The Zero also features 16 Neutrik Ethernet connectors or 4 x 20G fiber connectors. Zero supports DVI, HDMI, VGA, 3G SDI, and AV, and reproduces HDR images at near Blu-ray-quality color depth.
It's also designed to offer improved grey-scale performance with 18 bits of color depth.
The built-in OS supports both Windows and Mac, and includes intuitive remote control software.
