It's no secret that the Christmas production season can be especially challenging for church technical staff and their families. Church Technical Leaders, Inc. (CTL) is asking its members to come together in prayer on December 4th, at noon. The event is called SYNC: Christmas 2012. Bill Swaringim is CTL's founder and says for the past few years it's become tradition to stop for collective prayer heading into Christmas and Easter.
He says, “We now have almost 2200 members of church technical leaders and it's all about community. So, we just want to pray for this community, pray for one another – for the worship leaders, the technical staff and for our pastors. It's a no-brainer. It's free. It takes five minutes out of your day to stop and pray.”
Swaringim says this year he's hoping others in the church will join in and pray as well.
“We would love to see not only church technical artists coming together but also worship leaders, content creators and pastors across the world to lock in on the date and time, syncing together, to pray. We will be praying for the millions of people that will hear the Gospel of Christ through the events, production and services this Christmas season,” says Swaringim.
CTL would love to know who's praying. Those interested in joining them can sign up online at http://churchtechleaders.org/wp/sync-sign-up/.
