This year’s Capture Summit takes place July 25-27 at The John Maxwell Leadership Center at 12Stone Church in Atlanta. One of our Capture sponsors is Clark, a company that’s been designing AVL systems in churches for 25 years. At Capture 2022 the Clark 12Stone Tour will explore live audio production from the Digico Quantum 338 console with 12Stone house audio engineers using the gear. We talked with Clark Business Development’s Steven Spirek about the company’s involvement in the upcoming event.
Capture: What does Clark do?
Spirek: Audio-visual systems are the platform we create content on. Many organizations struggle to communicate with their audience in a way that is accurate, distraction-free, and impactful. At Clark, we design and build audio-visual systems that support the content reliably, while delivering it in an accurate and impactful way. Our solutions eliminate technological barriers, allowing you to deliver your unique content to audiences in a way that looks and sounds great.
Capture: What makes Clark a good fit for churches?
Spirek: A familiarity and understanding of the challenges you face. Clark started with a vision to help churches overcome their technological barriers, so they could deliver their unique content in a way that looks and sounds amazing! Clark uses hyper-focused specialists in each area of audio, video, lighting, and acoustics. It is difficult to have one person be an expert in everything AVL. It is much more efficient to be deep in knowledge in one area than try to spread yourself thin covering so many subject matters. Our relational partnership approach has been key to helping our clients successfully achieve their vision and goals. Spending time with your organization in the beginning stages allows us to understand the heartbeat of your unique organization and how technology can best support it.
Capture: What will Capture attendees find when they visit the Clark booth?
Spirek: A friendly, relaxed environment with a listening ear. We’d love to meet you and see how we can help! Whether it’s a person to bounce an idea off of, or questions like, “How do I make my live stream look better?” We’d love to help you tackle those problems you are experiencing.
Capture: What are some of the most interesting Clark church projects?
Spirek: My favorite projects at Clark are ones where we overcome an architectural or massive technological challenge. I love working on rooms that require a sensitivity to aesthetics. Integrating AVL technology into a room, while complementing or preserving the architectural look and feel, is always challenging and rewarding. Another thing that makes projects interesting are unusual technological challenges. Our clients come up with brilliant ideas but don’t always know how to accomplish them. It is fulfilling to bring the Clark team together to design a solution that is outside of the box that will help them overcome their obstacles and reach people through technology.
Capture: What can Capture attendees learn from visiting Clark at Capture?
Spirek: How Clark can design and install AVL systems that solve their problems, support their vision, and allow them to accurately and reliably communicate to their audiences.
